Printing
The main challenges in the printing industry are speed and quality. Thanks to our direct drive solution (torque motor, linear motor and controller), these two performances can be combined.
With a very low cogging linear motor and cogging compensation in our electronics, we are able to achieve a tracking error of less than one micrometer at high speeds, which could lead to high-quality and high-speed printing equipment.
In addition, with our linear motor, a straight segment (print area) can be combined with a curved segment to produce an oval track, using all standard magnetic paths. Our electronics include all the functions needed to control such a printing configuration.
