Your tasks

ETEL develops a wide array of motion systems dedicated to the semiconductor industry. Both hardware and software are developed inhouse to guarantee maximum performance and precision. This project focuses on the development of a user interface tool allowing to configure an advanced feature provided by ETEL’s motion controllers. Various projects are available. The final choice will be made together with you, based on your interests, technical background, and programming skills.

Your mission will be to contribute to the development, testing and validation of the tool under the guidance of a mentor:

  • Study and understand the controller’s feature and interact with it through low-level programming layers (Mostly, C and/or C#).
  • Define a configuration process and define a graphical user interface design allowing the final user to use the feature in a friendly user interface.
  • Implement the related user interface in C#/WPF.
Your profile
  • Bachelor or Master student in software, electronics, mechanical engineering or similar fields.
  • Good understanding of control systems’ algorithms (PID).
  • Programming skills in any of C/C#/WPF languages and bash/batch scripting and willingness to learn new languages.
  • Skills in Windows and Visual Studio programming.
  • Fluent in English, French and other languages are a plus.
